The 2024 World Series features two of MLB's most historic franchises.

The Yankees, seeking their 28th World Series title, will face the Dodgers, who last won the Fall Classic in 2020. The two teams are number 1 in their respective leagues.

The Dodgers have home field advantage, so they will host Games 1 and 2 before traveling to New York for Games 3 and 4. If the series goes beyond four games, New York will host Game 5 while Los Angeles has Games 6 and 7.

The 2024 Fall Classic features Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge as the two likely MVP winners. Ohtani has served as the designated hitter this season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Juan Soto, Gerrit Cole, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman are a few names rounding out a star-studded World Series.

2024 World Series radio announcer

These are the announcers who will be calling the 2024 Fall Classics on the radio:

• National: ESPN Radio will feature Jon “Boog” Sciambi on play-by-play with analysis from Eduardo Perez and Jessica Mendoza and reporting from Buster Olney.
• Yankees: John Sterling announced his retirement in April but is back in the locker room for one final run this offseason. As always, he is accompanied by Suzyn Waldman.
• Dodgers: Longtime announcer Charley Steiner handles play-by-play for Dodgers Radio, with Rick Monday providing analysis.
