Will it be wet for trick-or-treaters?

HOUSTON – Halloween is just a day away.

We've talked about the chance of rain for Halloween and that still seems to be the case.

However, it looks like the rain will taper off as the day gets later, which is good news for trick-or-treaters.

KPRC 2 will send push notifications Thursday to let you know when it's a good time to get out the door and trick-or-treat in your area.

This is what the forecast looks like for tomorrow evening from 4 p.m

The cold front responsible for Thursday's chance of rain is expected to move through the Houston area around 4 p.m. for anyone thinking about leaving early. Areas north of Houston, like Conroe and Huntsville, have the best chance of staying dry early.
