Who will win the election? Trump's chances rise to over 90%

The betting markets turned heavily towards Donald Trump on Tuesday evening as the first states were called for a presidential election.

So far, reliably Republican and Democratic states have fallen into the columns of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. But North Carolina was the first of the top swing states to go for Trump, and Georgia is also likely to go his way.

According to Kalshi, Trump's chances of winning increased to 93% from 57% at the start of the day. Meanwhile, financial markets have also begun to price in a Trump victory, as the dollar, Treasury yields, Bitcoin and shares of Trump Media and Technology rose sharply in after-hours trading.
