Where to vote in Pacific Beach?

There are many places where you can vote both on Election Day and in advance to make the process easy and convenient.

The general presidential election will take place on Tuesday, November 5th.

The Registrar of Voters' Office has installed official ballot drop boxes at several locations throughout the county, including in Pacific Beach. Voters can cast their ballots at any official location throughout the county. The ballot papers must be placed in the sealed and signed envelope.

In Pacific Beach, the ballot drop box is located at the Pacific Beach/Taylor Library, 4275 Cass St. There is a ballot drop box outside, so it will be available 24 hours a day until it closes at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th.

For those who would like to cast their vote in person at a voting center, there are numerous such centers in the immediate area that are open not only on election day but also in the days leading up to it. Voters can visit any voting center throughout the county.

At a vote center, they can cast a ballot or vote in person using a touchscreen ballot marking device. These are fully accessible to enable voters with disabilities to vote independently and privately. Voters may also want to visit a vote center if they made a mistake on their ballot or lost the ballot mailed to them. According to the electoral roll, there will be support for voting in multiple languages ​​and people can also register to vote or update their registration and vote on the same day.

There are four vote centers in Pacific Beach.

• The Pacific Beach/Taylor Library is open now through Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Tuesday November 5th the opening hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m

Remaining vote centers will be open Saturday, November 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Monday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 5th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. These are:

• Mission Bay High School Auditorium Foyer, 2475 Grand Ave.

• Pacific Beach Recreation Center craft room, 1405 Diamond St.

• Wesley Palms Auditorium, 2404 Loring St.

Ballots can also be returned in their signed and sealed envelopes through the U.S. Postal Service, but they must be postmarked by November 5th. Please check mailbox pickup times to ensure ballots are postmarked by the deadline.
