Where is College GameDay this week? Place, time, what you should know

play

“College GameDay” will take place in the Midwest, hosting a Week 9 matchup between the No. 13 Indiana Hoosiers and the Washington Huskies. This is the second time in College GameDay history that the show has been held in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Hoosiers are off to a 7-0 start under first-year head coach Curt Cignetti, a vast improvement from their woeful 3-9 record a season ago. To be fair, Indiana doesn't have a big win on their resume yet, but that doesn't matter as they have absolutely dominated every team they have played. Their closest contest was a 14-point win over Maryland, but no other game featured fewer than two possessions.

Washington, meanwhile, is 2-2 in conference play less than a year after reaching the College Football Playoff championship game. However, they have had a week off since being soundly defeated by Iowa 40-16. They have been preparing for this game for quite some time and it is sure to be a good one. After all, that's one of the reasons College GameDay chose Bloomington this week.

Here's everything you need to know about ESPN's flagship college football schedule heading into Week 9.
