Where can you vote on Election Day in DC, Maryland and Virginia?

Voters in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia will cast their ballots at polling stations throughout the DMV on Election Day. Here's what you need to know to find your polling place.

Where can you vote in Washington, DC on Election Day?

DC voters can vote at any Election Day voting center in the District. Voting centers in the county will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The DC Board of Elections sent every registered DC voter a mail-in ballot before Election Day. If you have not received your ballot by Friday, November 1, plan to vote in person. Postal voting boxes are distributed throughout the district. The mail-in ballots submitted can be returned to any mailbox until November 5th, 8:00 p.m.

Voters may also return their cast absentee ballots via USPS (must be postmarked by November 5th and received by the Board of Elections no later than November 15th) or in person at any voting center on Election Day.

Where can you vote on Election Day in Maryland?

On Election Day, Maryland voters must vote at their assigned polling place. The information is available on the Maryland Board of Election website. Voting centers in Maryland are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Visit the Board of Elections website for information about your voter registration and the voting center where you should vote. It identifies your voting districts and helps you identify your US Representative, US Senators, Maryland State Delegate and Maryland State Senator.

Voters in Virginia must vote at their polling place on Election Day. Voting centers in Virginia are open on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
