Okay, buckle up. Remember when Shia LaBeouf decided to play the copycat on the big stage? He didn't just borrow ideas; He basically stole the blueprint. Even his apologies were plagiarized. The guy tried to pass it off as “performance art.” Yes, that's right. Shia said it was all part of the plan. Meta, how much?

It all started in 2013 when Shia dropped out of his first Broadway performance, Orphans. The official reason? “Creative Differences” with Alec Baldwin (Translation: They couldn’t stand each other). So how did Shia smooth things over? He tweeted a heartfelt apology email to Baldwin and the cast. Only problem? His “original” words come straight from a 2009 Esquire article called “What’s a Man?” Classic move, right?

When people started denouncing him, did he back down? No. He included some quotes from David Mamet to justify the dig. Dude, we get it – you know how to cite sources – but are you using them properly? That's another story.

Then came his short film HowardCantour.com. The Cannes debut caused a stir for all the wrong reasons. It was a scene-by-scene copy of a graphic novel by Daniel Clowes. And guess what? Clowes still had to learn. The guy found out after the movie went online. Talk about going blind.

And when did Shia decide to apologize for this mess? You guessed it – he took the whole thing from a Yahoo! account. Reply post. At this point he makes copy pasting look like an Olympic sport. However, he didn't stop there. Shia apologized directly from the words of Tiger Woods, Robert McNamara, Kanye West, Shepard Fairey and even Mark Zuckerberg. This guy was doing a celebrity quote tour like it was a buffet.

Oh, and his self-published graphic novels? It turns out he “borrowed” lines from literary heavyweights like Charles Bukowski and Benoit Duteurtre. When people brought it to his attention, he did what any sensible person would do: He hired a skywriter to write an apology for LA. Spoiler: Daniel Clowes lives in the Bay Area, so he didn't even see it. Ouch.

And just when you thought he'd cooled off, Shia showed up at the Nymphomaniac premiere with a paper bag over his head that said, “I'm not famous anymore.” Does that sound familiar? Sia beat him to it with her Billboard cover. Not exactly original, is it?

The grand finale? A bizarre strike at a press conference when he quoted French football legend Eric Cantona's saying: “If the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines are being thrown into the sea.” He then stormed off, leaving everyone stunned.

Shia called it performance art, but it looked more like a master class in unoriginality. The guy wasn't just inspired – he copied and pasted his way through Hollywood!
