She told the audience: “We are on the precipice of an incredible turnaround. On the edge of history. I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I am here as a mother, as a mother who…” I care deeply about the world in which my children and all our children live, a world in which we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world in which “We are not divided.”

“We are all part of something much bigger. We have to vote and we need you…So let's do this,” she said, before giving Kamala “a big, loud Texas welcome” to the stage.

Trump addressed the performance at his rally in Michigan that evening, shiftily calling it a “dance party.”
