CHICAGO – As we settle in overnight, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and a chance of rain.

These winds will become stronger, with gusts between 30 and 40 miles per hour, and temperatures will drop into the low 40s overnight on Sunday.

Looking ahead to the start of the week, Monday and Tuesday are expected to bring cooler temperatures, with highs on Monday in the upper 50s and slipping into the lower 50s on Tuesday.

Rain is possible on both days, but the heaviest rainfall is expected to come Monday night into Tuesday, particularly near the lakeshore. There is even a possibility of gargoyles appearing over the lake.

The good news is that sunshine is on the horizon. On Wednesday we will see highs in the 50s, and as we approach the end of the week, those temperatures are expected to climb into the 60s on Thursday and reach the 70s on Friday.
