    Watch Chappell Roan debut his new queer country song “The Giver” on “SNL.”

    On Saturday night, pop star Chappell Roan made her “Saturday Night Live” debut as a musical guest, performing a brand new track, a lesbian country song called “The Giver.”

    Roan, known for songs “HOT TO GO!” and “Good Luck, Baby!”, appeared on “SNL” on a big night – the episode was hosted by comedian John Mulaney and featured a special cameo from Vice President Kamala Harris.

    Before premiering her new song, Roan took the stage dressed like the Bride of Frankenstein to sing the hit “Pink Pony Club” from her 2023 album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.”

    The track was a crowd favorite with the audience in Studio 8H singing along.

    Chappell Roan is going on a country tour on “SNL.”

    Roan then returned to the stage in a country outfit with a pink and white print, blue bows and matching cowgirl boots. Roan's band and backup singers even sported some country-western looks.

    The queer pop star launched into her new country track, complete with lively violin and a pounding tempo. But this country track is a little different than the typical one; The catchy, heavily sapphic song is already considered a queer country anthem by many.

    Opening the song, Roan sang, “There's no antlers hanging on the walls / But I sure know mating calls / The stands in the bars on a Friday night / I know the boys might need a map / But I can close my eyes / And have.” you have me so wrapped around your finger.

    Roan strutted around, spun around, buckled up, and got down on her knees as cartoon bears and other animals played on the screen behind her.

    In her ultra-sensual chorus, Roan belted out, “Take it like a taker 'cause baby I'm a giver / There's no reason to help me 'cause baby I'm giving birth / Ain't no country boy quitter / I get.” the job done.”

    During the bridge, she yelled at the audience, saying, “All the country boys say you know how to treat a woman right? / Well, only a woman knows how to treat a woman right!”

    And so Chappell Roan's country era began.

    And on her first country track, Baby, she delivered.
