In her fourth Musical guest appearance on Saturday Night LiveBillie Eilish performed two tracks from her acclaimed third studio album, Hit me hard and softwhich came out in May.

Eilish, Rolling StoneThis month's cover artist started with “Birds of a Feather.” With the name of her latest album written on the soles of her shoes, the singer-songwriter was first filmed through a transparent cube while standing on it. Blue sky walls and ceilings matched the lightness of the song, which Eilish sang alongside her brother, producer and co-writer Finneas, who played acoustic guitar.

All ten titles from Hit me hard and soft debuted in the billboard Hot 100 Top 40. Eilish's second performance on Saturday, “Wildflower,” offered a much darker tone and was performed entirely in dark blue lighting.

Eilish last appeared on SNL last December for the show's Christmas episode, featuring “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “What Was I Made For,” the multi-award-winning ballad from the soundtrack of Barbie.

Having just completed three consecutive shows at nearby Madison Square Garden, she is in the middle of her North American tour Hit me hard and soft. Eilish will start again in Georgia early next month before moving further west and wrapping up work in Los Angeles in mid-December.

She will be in Australia at the beginning of next year and then in Europe in the spring.
