Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts didn't react kindly to interference from two New York Yankees fans as he tried to catch a foul ball in Game 4 of the World Series.

After the Dodgers were victorious in Game 5 and won the Fall Classic, Betts said on Fox that he had never experienced anything like it before and that it was “like the second time in my life that I've ever wanted to fight someone.”

ESPN's Jesse Rogers identified the fans as Austin Capobianco and John Peter, both of whom were ejected from the game. Capobianco is the one who chose Betts' glove, and he told Rogers that the scenario was something he had imagined before.

“We always joke about the ball in our area,” he said. “We won’t bother attacking. If it’s in our area, we’ll go up ‘D’.”

“Someone defends, someone hits the ball. We talk about it. We are ready for this.”

Capobianco and Peter were excluded from participating in Game 5. They are both Yankees season ticket holders and it is unclear whether their ban will be extended into the 2025 MLB season.

It's probably a good thing they weren't at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday night to watch the Bronx Bombers blow a five-run lead en route to defeat in the World Series.
