(NewsNation) — A professional athlete stopped a drunken Sean “Diddy” Combs from sexually assaulting a “luxury car businessman” at a party in 2022, according to a lawsuit obtained by the New York Post.

The alleged victim said Diddy invited him to a private office during a launch party for the music mogul's vodka brand Ciroc. He claims Combs took off his pants and exposed himself when they were alone.

“Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff’s genitals through his pants and squeezed them in a rough and sexual manner,” the lawsuit says.

“Plaintiff was shocked and disoriented, momentarily frozen and unsure how to respond to Combs' strangely inappropriate sexual advances,” it continues.

The attack was stopped by “Professional Athlete A,” who came to the office and intervened, the documents say. The sports star was not named.

The plaintiff, identified only as “John Doe,” runs a Los Angeles-based business that rents luxury cars and jewelry. He worked with Diddy for years before the alleged assault, the lawsuit says.

Diddy has been at the center of a storm of controversy and legal trouble, with multiple people making allegations of sexual assault against him, leading to a series of lawsuits.

These allegations have sparked a federal investigation. Authorities are reportedly investigating sex trafficking charges. The trial date for May 5th was set for October 10th.
