UFC 308 takes place this weekend at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi and is headlined by Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway.

The preliminary card is also very dramatic as Rafael Dos Anjos takes on Geoff Neal and Father Time and my preliminary predictions for UFC 308 are for Neal to win on October 26th.

Aslan is a rough but powerful striker who may not do much apart from being an entertaining substitute, but he is far more proven than Cerqueira.

While Cerqueira comes into this fight with an 11-0 record, having built it up against terrible regional opponents in Brazil, he is in for a rude awakening that may have him hopping on the next plane back to Sao Paolo .

Aslan will take the fight straight to Cerqueira and his heavy punches should lead to an early stoppage.

The fight odds between Abus Magomedov and Brunno Ferreira

Unfortunately for Magomedov, he didn't show the “Dagestan magic” when taking over the UFC. He has struggled so far, having been dominated by Caio Borralho and knocked out by Sean Strickland in his biggest tests, while only managing victories against weaker opponents.

Ferreira, on the other hand, is an explosive striker who fights with reckless abandon, often putting himself at risk of a knockout while hunting down one of his opponents.

While Magomedov has some decent skills, I haven't seen anything to suggest that Ferreira will struggle to close the distance and land a big throw to put him away.

This fight between a seasoned veteran and a former champion may not have a huge impact on the division, but it is still an exciting matchup.

Dos Anjos has bounced back and forth between lightweight and welterweight with mixed results, and it is becoming increasingly clear that he is fading quickly, as evidenced by his recent losses to Mateusz Gamrot and Vicente Luque.

On the other hand, Neal is still capable of putting up solid performances against strong opponents, even though he lost his last two fights against Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Garry.

Although Neal won't be competing against the welterweight elite, he's still capable and he can't be blamed for coming up short against two potential title contenders. This version of Dos Anjos, on the other hand, doesn't have much to offer except that she can take hits and still go the distance.
