Tyler, the Creator's new album Chromakopia release date announced

Tyler, the Creator is back. The Grammy-winning rapper announced plans for his eighth studio album on Thursday (October 17). Titled Chromacopythe set will be released later this month.

After an initial teaser on Wednesday (October 16), Tyler revealed Chromacopyas well as the project's release date of October 28th, which is a Monday rather than the typical Friday.

“All songs were written, produced and arranged by Tyler Okonma,” the cover reads in an emerald green hue. As for the art, it's a black and white photo of Tyler as a soldier in a mask that fans saw in the movie “St. Chroma” visual earlier this week.

Chromacopy will serve as the official 2021 sequel Call me if you get lost. Since then, Tyler has released an album every two years leprechaun Debuted in 2011, but this series ended when no project arrived in 2023.

Fans got their first glimpse of Tyler starting his new era on Wednesday when the musician shared a clip of the “St. Chroma” video, which some fans believed was the opening track of his next album. Solange Knowles, Lil Yachty, Gunner Stahl, IDK, Lil Dicky, Wolfacejoeyy, Laila!, Swizz Beatz, Doechii, Wynne and more jumped into his comments section on IG to show him their love.

Call me if you get lost was released in June 2021 and debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with a total of 169,000 album units sold in its first week. The LP was named Best Rap Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Tyler will next perform at his Camp Flog Gnaw Festival at Dodger Stadium the weekend of November 16th and 17th, where attendees will likely hear music from his upcoming album. A full lineup for the carnival is not yet known.
