Trump returns to Palm Beach and casts his vote

PALM BEACH, Fla — After several campaign drives in battleground states, former President Donald Trump arrived in Palm Beach on Tuesday morning, hours after a late rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

“I just think we ran a good campaign. I had good politics. “We want people to come to our country, but they have to come legally,” Trump said at his polling station. “We want strong borders and we want people to come in. We want to be completely inclusive, but they have to come in.”

“I think it was a big problem. For me that was the biggest problem. I could be wrong. And a lot of people said inflation was a disaster. But I think there is a second problem. I think the first is the border. We cannot allow criminals to be returned or brought into our country.”

The former president held the final campaign rally of his two-term presidential bid Monday night, taking the stage after midnight and speaking until after 2 a.m. to urge his voters to show up at the polls.

“With your vote tomorrow, we can solve every single problem facing our country and lead America and beat the world to new heights of glory,” he said.

In his final message, Trump made personal insults and even used a curse word to refer to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“She is a corrupt person. She is a bad person. Devilish!” said Trump. “It starts with a B, but I won't say it. I want to say it!”

Before the votes were even counted, the former president expressed doubts and claimed election integrity was assured. If he loses, his supporters will be to blame.

“If we take our people out, it's over, there's nothing they can do about it. It's nice to have that, right? You know?” Trump said. “In other words, to make you feel a little guilty, we would just blame you.”

At his rally in Pennsylvania, Trump called some undocumented immigrants “evil” people and floated the idea that immigrants have a fighting league of their own.

“I want the migrant to face the champion,” he said. “And I think the migrant might actually win, that’s how nasty some of these guys are.”

At one point, Trump suggested that boxer Mike Tyson get in the ring with Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Mike went through a lot, but he could fight, I can tell you that,” Trump said. “This guy could fight. But can you imagine that, Mike? Oh, he says, get Mike in the ring with Kamala. That would be interesting. No, but can you imagine that?

In recent weeks, Trump has targeted young male voters in a series of interviews on podcasts. And overnight he received major support from popular podcaster Joe Rogan.

Trump's Vice President JD Vance arrived at a polling station in his home state of Ohio on Tuesday morning.

“I hope people get President Trump across the finish line. Look, I feel good,” Vance said. “You never know until you know, but I feel good about this race. “Hopefully President Trump and I are doing as well as I did at Ohio State a few years ago.”
