Former President Donald Trump ended his rally in Nevada on Thursday night by posing next to a group of female Trump supporters – a move intended to troll Mark Cuban, a billionaire supporter of his rival Kamala Harris.

The uproar began Wednesday when Trump bragged at a rally in Wisconsin that he would protect women “whether the women like it or not.” The post-roe The comment immediately sparked criticism that continued into Thursday.

Cuban addressed the issue head-on during an appearance The view.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Always,” Cuban said. “It's that simple. You scare him. He doesn't like being challenged by them, and Nikki Haley will call him out on his nonsense about reproductive rights and the way he sees, treats, and talks about women. I mean, he just can't have her with him. It wouldn’t work.”

Trump is notorious for his comments about women, including those he made on the way to a convention in 2005 Access Hollywood Interview. In May 2023, a jury found Donald Trump guilty of sexually assaulting advice columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996.

He has also bragged about appointing three conservative justices to the Supreme Court that ultimately overthrew him Roe v. Wade.

Cuban's comments drew the ire of female MAGA supporters who then hit back at the mogul, including Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Trump lawyer Alina Habba and New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, who wrote an opinion piece for MAGA New York Post titled: “Strong, Smart Women Actually Vote Red and Will Vote for Donald Trump on Election Day.”

Cuban later defended his comments on I’m certainly not saying women voters aren’t smart, strong and intelligent.”

Still, the Trump campaign and its surrogates seized on the comments. In a video, female Trump campaign staffers attack Cuban and Kamala Harris. “The world has discovered that Kamala's campaign is not just about women empowerment, as she says. “Do I look weak to you?” said one.

Ahead of his rally on Thursday night, Trump claimed that Cuban had called Trump “incessantly” during his presidency – before claiming he was “surrounded by the strongest women in the world.”

“Mark Cuban, a really stupid guy who thinks he's hot stuff but he's absolutely nothing, now says I don't surround myself with strong women. Actually he is completely wrong, I surround myself with the strongest women – with the understanding that ALL women are great, strong or not.

“This guy is such an idiot, he's always on TV criticizing me, and the only reason he's doing it is because when I was president, I completely tuned him out because he kept calling. I told him very clearly: “Look, Mark, I'm busy, I just can't take so many pointless calls from you.” In any case, that really touched him because he's a very insecure guy and a BIG one LOSER, always has been and always will be!

“Nobody likes him, nobody respects him and he is unattractive both inside and out! He should talk again about the person he had to support because I didn't want him to: Lyin' Kamala Harris. He also has no club head speed!

“Maybe I'm actually surrounded by the strongest women in the world, including heads of countries who make Mark look like a 'baby!' All strong women and women in general should be very angry at this weak man's statement.”

After announcing at his rally in Nevada that he would put conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in charge of “women's health,” the former president posed next to a group of women, including Susie Wiles, a senior adviser to Donald Trump 2024 presidential campaign.

Campaign footage showed the group of women raising their arms in a fist alongside Trump.

Meanwhile, Democratic opponent Kamala Harris warned voters: “Donald Trump thinks he should be allowed to decide what to do with his body. Whether you like it or not.”

“I think it’s offensive to everyone, by the way,” Harris said Thursday.
