One of the speakers who warmed up the audience was Fat Joe, an American rapper. He leaned on the lectern at Muhlenberg College and recounted some of what happened at the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden.

“It was full of hate,” he said. “My Latinos, where is your pride?”

Harris' appearance was part of a multi-city blitz in Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state whose 19 electoral votes are key to her chances.

“This is it,” she told a cheering crowd in the school gym. “Just one more day. There is only one day left in one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime and the momentum is on our side. Can you feel it? We have momentum.”

Since she started in July, Harris has portrayed herself as an outsider. But on the eve of Election Day, she sounded bolder and more confident.

“Make no mistake; We will win,” she said.

As the campaign wound down, Harris avoided saying Trump's name, hoping it would end on a more positive note. Nevertheless, she gave him a few blows. Pointing to Trump's focus on people he doesn't like, she said: “When I enter the White House, I will be working on my to-do list every day instead of stewing over an enemies list.”
