Hours after it was announced that Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente were reportedly expecting their first child together, the supermodel's ex-husband, retired NFL legend Tom Brady, had something to say on his Instagram.

Brady, who is no newbie to posting cryptic Instagram Stories that usually coincide with breaking news about himself, shared a photo of a sunset.

He chose the emotional track “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac as background noise, although the very meaningful lyrics were projected onto the image: “Oh Mirror in the Sky / What is Love? sailing through the changing tides of the ocean?”

A representative for the seven-time Super Bowl champions did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Yesterday, news spread quickly that the Brazilian beauty was pregnant. “Gisele and Joaquim are excited about this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” a source said in a statement to People magazine.

Rumors that Bündchen and Valente, a jiu-jitsu professor from Brazil, were involved began to spread around the time of Bündchen's divorce. A month after her legal divorce from Brady, she and Valente were spotted on a trip to Costa Rica. News outlets reported that they were on a date.

“This is the children’s and Gisele’s long-time martial arts teacher. There is no truth to any dating rumors,” a source told Fox News Digital at the time. “The photos were not taken on a romantic getaway, but rather on a trip to her home in the Central American country,” they added.

The insider explained that the photos of Bündchen and Valente include another adult, Jordan, a home teacher for Bündchen's children Benjamin and Vivian, both of whom she shares with Brady. Valente is the children's sports teacher. In total there were six adults and eight children on the trip.

In March, Bündchen, 44, shared insights into her new relationship in a conversation with The New York Times.

“This is the first time I'm meeting someone who was friends with me first,” she told the outlet, but did not name Valente directly. “It's completely different. It’s very honest and very transparent.”

In the same interview, the model denied claims that she cheated on Brady, 47, with Valente, 36.

“That’s a lie,” she explained. “This happens to a lot of women who are blamed for having the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and labeled as unfaithful,” Bündchen added.

“They have to engage with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course, for me it's a bit exaggerated,” she told Women Fighting the Adultery Label magazine. “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

Bündchen and Brady divorced after 13 years of marriage. They continue to raise their children together and both have a home in South Florida.
