Previous themes have included children's book characters in 2008, where Hoda Kotb dressed as Little Red Riding Hood; Saturday Night Live in 2014, where Al Roker and Lester Holt gave a smooth performance as The Blues Brothers; and on Broadway in 2020, where Craig Melvin channeled his inner Alexander Hamilton.

This year's theme, VHS Rewind, made for some epic costumes from America's favorite TV personalities.
