A two-pitch blip or a long, epic streak about to unfold?

That's a question the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians may be asking themselves after the Guardians came just one hit away from falling into a 3-0 deficit in this American League Championship Series. But Jhonkensy Noel's tight, game-winning home run, followed by David Fry's walk-off shot an inning later, breathes life into this ALCS.

Cleveland's 7-5 win at Progressive Field cut New York's lead in this ALCS to 2-1, but the Yankees can once again grab a commanding advantage in Game 4 on Friday night.

Luis Gil will make his first career postseason start against Cleveland's Gavin Williams.

New York stacked left-handed Williams, moved Jazz Chisholm to No. 4 and added first baseman Anthony Rizzo and catcher Austin Wells back to the lineup. The Guardians, meanwhile, are starting both right fielder Daniel Schneemann and catcher Austin Hedges for the second straight year.

Game 5 is Saturday night at 8:08 ET at Progressive Field.
