EVANSVILLE – The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival's half pot took a huge jump between Wednesday and Thursday, rising 48% in just over 24 hours.

How much is the half pot at the Fall Festival?

By midday on Thursday, half the pot was available $897,850.

How much has the total increased in the last 24 hours?

With the largest amount so far this week. As of midday Wednesday, the Nut Club put the total at $604,780. This means that the total rose by almost $300,000 – $293,070 to be precise – in just one day.

How high will it be?

Last year's total was around $1.8 million. Nut Clubbers hope to hit the $2 million mark this year.

How do I buy tickets? And how much do they cost?

Several booths are set up at intersections along West Franklin Street. Here is the price breakdown:

  • 3 tickets for $10
  • 20 tickets for $20
  • 50 tickets for $40
  • 150 tickets for $100

You can pay in cash or for the first time with your credit or debit card. The drawing of the winning ticket is scheduled for the evening of Saturday, October 12th.

Who won last year?

Since the Half Pot began in 2019, all winners have remained anonymous. The total, which ranges from $1.2 million to $1.8 million, will reportedly be split between the raffle ticket winner, the Nut Club and area nonprofits.
