Wilson was Rodgers' first target this season. In his last two games, the third-year pro had 21 catches for 208 yards and two touchdowns on 33 targets. Wilson is the only player with more than 20 catches since Week 5. He is the first Jets player with more than 100 receiving yards and more than one receiving TD in consecutive games since Brandon Marshall in Weeks 16–17 of 2015.

The 31-year-old Adams remains an elite weapon as he has had four consecutive seasons with more than 1,100 yards. The veteran's ability to win off the line of scrimmage and always be available to the quarterback sets him apart from other wideouts. While Wilson gives Rodgers credit for helping teach some of the intricacies of the game, picking the brain of a three-time All-Pro receiver will be an even bigger boon for the rising talent.

Make no mistake, Wilson is a star in his own right, but playing alongside another elite weapon will make the Jets' offense even stronger, even if neither is force-fed the pigskin at the same rate.

With Adams joining Wilson and Allen Lazard at the top of the depth chart, the questions surrounding New York are what will become of Mike Williams. Good morning football Peter Schrager reported Tuesday that Williams was on the no-trade deal.

“I think we'll figure out in the next few days how all of these pieces fit together,” Ulbrich said when asked about Williams. “It's an exciting and good problem to have because we have a lot of different people with a lot of different skills that can do a lot of things, so Todd (Downing) and his staff are going to have some sleepless nights with some good problems.”
