Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Montravius ​​Adams was upgraded from questionable to non-player after appearing on Friday's injury report with a knee injury. Adams will play against the New York Jets after the team cleared him.

Adams has one sack and five tackles this season. As a rotational pass rusher behind Keeanu Benton at nose tackle, Adams has become a key sparkplug for the team's pass rush off the bench.

Adams re-signed with the Steelres this offseason to a two-year extension, his second extension with the team. The former Auburn player failed in his first assignment with the Green Bay Packers and then joined the New Orleans Saints practice squad. Pittsburgh signed him from the Saints' practice squad for the 2021 season.
