The Globe's Gascon Interview – California Globe

We're trying to be fair at the Globe, so we reached out to current Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon to set up an “End of Campaign” chat – you know, what does he think his run against Nathan Hochman lost? I think he will surprise people on Tuesday etc.

Here is the entire interview:

The Globe's Gascon Interview – California Globe

Of course, the people of Gascony didn't respond globe about anything ever – really, literally – is not unexpected. It's standard operating procedure for politicians who don't like answering difficult questions.

But we still felt it was important to remind people of Gascon's achievement, so let's leave George behind, take a walk down memory lane and let George's actions speak for themselves.

Here are two articles about how George treats his professional assistant district attorneys – very, very poorly, actually. In fact, it cost LA taxpayers a fortune in lost litigation long after Gascon left office:

Millions of dollars in lawsuits.

Getting sued by employees… often.

Politically, the last few years have been a disaster for Gascon, all because of his ideology, which prioritized public safety and public service. Here are a few things about his sad election campaign:

Embarrassment.

No more money.

Being defeated in the polls.

A district attorney's primary job is to ensure justice and protect the community. Well, that's how it should be. Here are some reminders of how and why Gascon did the exact opposite:

Shanice Dyer, freed murderer.

Released from prison early.

Youth semantics.

Release as many people as possible from prison.

There's a saying in politics: If you can be a good elected official, you have to at least be honest so people don't hate you so much. Gascon's string of absurdly woke corruption shows he's never heard this before:

Hiring social justice activists who are not lawyers.

Office ethics chief charged with crimes.

Continue to pay, said the ethics chief.

Reinstatement of a retiree who happens to be a witness in your defense in a lawsuit brought by employees.

The chief of staff is slipping, thanks to the once strong relationship between Gascon and the attorney general.

How about helping crime victims? No:

Termination of parole hearing.

Helping criminals for political reasons? Secure:

The Menendez brothers.

Lying about crime statistics? At least he agreed with this:

Gascon says X, state statistics say Y.

And just mind-blowing, aggressively stupid and disgusting? Here is an example:

We all remember Hannah Tubbs, don't we?

The election is on Tuesday. Vote wisely.
