The latest Coaches Poll Top 25 rankings follow Week 7 of college football and, as expected, there have definitely been some changes.

The highlight of the weekend was some hard-fought games in the Big Ten and SEC. But let's not forget the ACC and Big 12 when it comes to the Power 4. And the rest of college football is all good stuff!

Let's take a look at the latest Coaches' Poll top 25 rankings after Week 6.

Texas survived a slow start and then ran away from rival Oklahoma in Red River. It took a few drives for QB Quinn Ewers, but he came around and led the Longhorns to a 34-3 win.

Tre Wisner was the star on the ground with 13 carries for 118 yards and a touchdown. Texas remained undefeated with the win.

The Ducks earned their biggest win of the season and after a slow start in the first few weeks, they finally put the world on notice. Beating Ohio State 32-31 was no easy task and they may have to try again.

Dillon Gabriel threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for one, but it was the ground game that really put them over the top. Jordan James ran 23 times for 115 yards and a score.

How about Penn State coming back and beating USC on the road? It appears that the aircraft problems from State College or the runway problems did not affect the Nittany Lions.

Drew Allar threw for nearly 400 yards and two touchdowns in the 33-30 overtime win. However, he was caught three times. Still, Penn State outscored USC 24-10 in the second half.

The Bulldogs defeated Mississippi State in a 41-31 shootout to secure another victory. Aside from the Kirby Smart controversy, the Bulldogs remained in position for the SEC.

Next up is Texas in Austin. The winner will receive insider information on the SEC Championship Game. If Georgia wins, things will get really interesting at the top.

Ohio State fell just short, and perhaps Will Howard wasn't aware of the clock. With six seconds left, the quarterback decided to run and slide instead of throwing the ball away, and the game was over.

Despite losing a point, the team won't blame him. The Buckeyes are still one of the top teams in the country and have plenty of room to get back to the top.

Miami was idle this week and after exciting wins over Virginia Tech and Cal, it was probably a much-needed break. Still, the Hurricanes are at the top of the ACC and undefeated.

The next two opponents are interesting: a competitive Louisville team and perhaps a desperate Florida State team. That will become clear before the last third of the year.

Alabama is on shaky ground right now, but the Crimson Tide emerged victorious against an upset South Carolina team. If Alabama hadn't defended a two-point conversion, who knows what would have happened?
There could be questions about Kalen DeBoer and Jalen Milroe, at least in the context of the last two weeks. Next week's game at Tennessee could answer many of those pressing questions.

8. LSU (+2)

Remember when the sky fell after LSU lost to USC in the first game of the season? Well, like their fellow Clemson Tigers, these Bayou Bengals have won five straight.

The last one was an overtime thriller about Ole Miss. After leading the Rebels to a field goal in overtime, Garrett Nussmeier scored the decisive touchdown immediately afterwards. Celebrate!

Clemson's comeback story since losing to Georgia in the first game of the year might be overlooked. The Tigers have won five games in a row.

In their last win, Clemson dominated Wake Forest 49-14. Cade Klubnik threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Tennessee avoided disaster against rival Florida and beat the Gators in overtime. This meant that she expected a top 10 placement at the beginning of the seventh week.

But the Vols have looked shaky in recent weeks. So who says this won't result in a loss? This coming weekend against Alabama will tell a lot about Josh Heupel's squad.
