The busiest and slowest polling locations in Bexar County during early voting in the 2024 general election

SAN ANTONIO – A record was broken in Bexar County on the first day of early voting in the 2024 general election.

According to the Bexar County Elections Office, a total of 46,820 voters cast ballots across Bexar County to mark the start of early voting.

This broke the previous record from 2020 of 33,101. In 2016, 35,431 ballots were cast.

During early voting, Bexar County is offering 51 polling locations ahead of the Nov. 5 election. Locations include schools, libraries, churches and community centers.

Early voting times:

  • Monday, Oct. 21 to Friday, Oct. 25 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m

  • Saturday, Oct. 26 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m

  • Sunday, October 27th – 12 p.m. to 6 p.m

  • Monday, October 28th to Friday, November 1st – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m

Registered During early voting, voters can cast their ballot at any polling station.

Early voting runs from October 21st to November 1st.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th; Polling stations will be open on this day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The busiest polling stations on the first day of early voting:

  1. Northwest Vista College: 1,999 voters

  2. Encino Branch Library: 1,835 voters

  3. Brookhollow Branch Library: 1,689 voters

  4. Cody Branch Library: 1,580 voters

  5. Igo Branch Library: 1,552 voters

  6. Semmes Branch Library: 1,513 voters

  7. Helotes Town Hall: 1,489 voters

  8. Tobin Branch Library @ Oakwell: 1,361 voters

  9. Parman Branch Library @ Stone Oak: 1,351 voters

  10. Maverick Branch Library: 1,276 voters
