CLEVELAND – Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a right Achilles tendon injury late in the first half of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

On the first play after the two-minute warning, Watson's leg appeared to hyperextend on the non-contact play as he attempted to carry the ball. Watson immediately gave up and fell to the ground.

Moments later, a cart came onto the field and dragged an emotional Watson away. The entire Browns sideline walked onto the field as he was placed on the cart.

Watson was expelled shortly afterwards.

The Browns had made Jameis Winston inactive as the third emergency quarterback, so Dorian Thompson-Robinson came into the game as Watson's replacement.

Watson struggled in his third season in Cleveland, posting the lowest QBR of any qualified passer. Before the injury, he was 15 of 17 for 128 yards on Sunday.
