November's fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson suffered another setback as prices for tickets still available drop. It is a big blow for the organizers, who have had to deal with many problems this year.

The rearranged boxing match, scheduled to take place in just over two weeks on November 15 at Arlington's AT&T Stadium in Texas, was scheduled for July before Tyson was forced to withdraw due to illness. However, despite the fighters' high profile, cheap tickets are now on sale.

Instead of increasing costs, as many events of this size would normally do in the home stretch before the start, organizers have instead reduced prices on hundreds of seats – some of which are available for $30 (£23) – reports MMA Junkie . With a capacity of over 80,000, it's a big blow in the lead up to fight night.

The competition was expected to sell out, but now, half a month before the event, Seat Geek has tickets listed for $37 (£28) – others on StubHub are priced at $52 (£40) – still significantly less than usual are expected. Demand for ringside tickets remains huge, with the going price topping $50,000 (£38,800).

Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey previously fought in the same arena, albeit in front of fewer than 51,000 spectators, and Antonio Margarito vs Pacquiao drew just over 41,500 spectators. Canelo Alvarez also faced Liam Smith and Billy Joe Saunders in Texas, scoring over 51,000 and 73,000 points respectively in both fights.

Before the fight, Paul explained his tactics, saying: “Just boxing from the outside and then using my footwork to be more agile and make him chase me and then attack him when he's out of position. That should frustrate him.”

However, Tyson quickly replied: “(It will be) Not long now once I catch him, because he will run away like a thief. I don't see how he's going to keep up an exciting fight all day.

“He's supposed to be the young guy, he's supposed to run right through me… I'm an old man and he's gonna run all damn night?!”
