Rains in Tamil Nadu and Chennai LIVE: Southern Railways issued warning on safety of metro rails:

1. Waterlogging is observed on B-Road, Koyambedu. Passengers are requested to reach Koyambedu Metro Station by walking across the bridge from Poonamallee High Road, Landmark – Rohini Theater side.

2. The escalator at Entrance B1 at Puratchi Thalaivar Dr.MGRamachandran Central Metro Station is switched off for safety reasons. Passengers are advised to exercise caution when using stairs at all subway stations.

3. Passengers are advised not to stop their vehicles at Koyambedu, St.Thomas Mount and Arumbakkam metro stations and at parking lots prone to water logging from 10/15/2024 to 10/17/2024 (weather conditions).
