Take a look, county by county, at who is still without internet in the north of the state

Last week, Spectrum extended its internet restoration deadline for Upstate customers from October 16th to Monday, October 21st.

Now that the day has arrived, the question remains: Has internet been restored to all customers in Anderson, Greenville and Spartanburg?

According to Spectrum's 10 a.m. update, “The vast majority of our customers impacted by Hurricane Helene will have services restored no later than Monday, October 21st.” Repairs to our network have been completed in many counties in North and South Carolina, and we remain committed to restoring connectivity as quickly as possible.”

How many SC customers are back online?

Spectrum says over 97% of its customers in SC are back online. However, repairs in some areas are taking longer than expected. It is also possible that the Service may remain offline after the date indicated on the Company's website.

Customers in the Upstate still without internet, by county

∎ Anderson: 96% recovered, 1,805 customers offline.

∎ Greenville: 98% recovered, 4,463 customers offline.

∎ Spartanburg: 95% recovered, 4,084 customers offline.

How many NC customers are back online?

Spectrum says more than 98% of customers in North Carolina are back online. As in SC, some areas are taking longer to repair than expected. Internet restoration estimates are subject to change due to current conditions.

Western NC customers without internet by county

∎ Buncombe: 88% recovered, 12,303 customers offline.

∎ Henderson: 74% recovered, 1,001 customers offline.

∎ Mitchell: 70% recovered, 743 customers offline.

When is internet expected to be fully restored in the Carolinas?

Spectrum estimates that internet will be fully restored for customers in the Carolinas on October 21st.

What can I do if I don't have internet and I'm not in the counties listed?

If you are experiencing an internet outage and your county is not included in the lists above, contact Spectrum to report the outage and provide the location.

Will I be charged for the internet that I didn't have during Helene?

In a letter sent to customers on Friday, Spectrum said that once a customer has service restored, it will automatically apply the appropriate credit to the next bill for the period the service was offline. No action is required for the customer to receive credit.
