Sydney Sweeney is unrecognizable as professional boxer Christy Martin

Sydney Sweeney goes into fight mode for her latest film, a biopic about professional boxer Christy Martin.

The “Euphoria” star seemed ready to riot as she shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram from the set of her project about the super welterweight champion.

In the photos taken by Eddy Chen, Sweeney has traded her blonde hair for a curly '90s brunette cut and is flexing her biceps while wearing baggy sweatpants and a red tank top.

The star's caption said she has been “engaged in training” for several months to show how she is preparing for the film, which has yet to be titled.

In her post, The White Lotus star described Martin as an “incredible woman” and “a true champion who fought battles both in and out of the ring.”

“Her journey is a testament to resilience, strength and hope, and I am honored to follow in her footsteps and share her powerful story with all of you,” Sweeney said.

While she was a pro at taking punches during her in-ring career, actual violence almost cost Martin his life.

In 2010, the International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee survived a murder attempt by husband James Martin, who left her for dead after he stabbed and shot her in their Florida home.

Sweeney first announced the project in May, telling Deadline that she “longed to get back in the ring” after previously practicing kickboxing from ages 12 to 19.

“Christy's story is not an easy story, it is physically and emotionally demanding, there is a lot of weight to carry,” she said. “But I love challenging myself.”

The biopic will star Ben Foster as James Martin, while actors Merritt Weaver, Katy O'Brien, Ethan Embry, Jess Gabor, Chad L. Coleman and Tony Cavalero will star.
