Loreal Sarkisian received lots of love on her birthday on October 12th. But for her Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns gave her the greatest gift she could have asked for. In a new IG story, she posted a video of Steve Sarkisian proudly wears the Golden Hat Trophy after winning the Red River Rivalry. She captioned the story: “The best birthday present @steve.sarkisian 🤘🏽”

Texas had an outstanding performance, defeating No. 18 Oklahoma with a heavy blow, 34-3. But it also healed Texas' wound from its previous losses to the Sooners. In 2022, they celebrated a comeback that Oklahoma achieved last season with a 34-30 victory over the Longhorns.
