Those who supported Vice President Kamala Harris tried their best to get their candidate votes, but the vice president failed.

President-elect Donald Trump has been elected the 47th President of the United States, becoming the first person to win the election after losing since former President Grover Cleveland.

However, ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith was not impressed with the tactics of some Harris supporters.

“At the end of the day, celebrities who are worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and who most American citizens feel are incredibly disconnected from their lifestyle and quality of life, would not get away with making them feel bad about doing something else than what their experience says and what they should do about it,” Smith said on a recent edition of his “Stephen A. Smith Show.”

He then played a clip of Oprah Winfrey saying a win for Trump could mean they would never vote again.

“This is the kind of stuff that alienates an electorate, alienates a voter,” Smith said. “Because the freedom you tell them you have, you try to morally confiscate by letting them know that if you don’t vote the way we say you should vote, you’re worthless. Who will stand up for this in a general election? “In an inflation-ridden economy and with over 12 million people crossing the border, the value of their dollars is evaporating before our eyes.”

Smith then took issue with a clip of former first lady Michelle Obama saying that black men voting for Trump was a vote against “us.”

“If we disagree with you, then are we against you?” Smith questioned. “How do you think the men felt about this? So we have to do what you tell us, otherwise we're against you? go to work?”

Smith had predicted in September that Harris would win, but she fell well short of the 81 million votes President Biden received in 2020.

It is the first time in his three election cycles that Trump has won the popular vote.
