St. Pius, Santa Rosa and Tapakuma win Pee Wee U-11 boys soccer

Defending champions St. Pius as well as Santa Rosa and Tapakuma Lake posted comfortable victories as the Courts Pee Wee U-11 Boys' Football Championship resumed yesterday at the Ministry of Education grounds on Carifesta Avenue.

St. Pius defeated Wifer Gardens 4-1. Jovaine Wright scored a brace in the 13th and 18th minutes, while Aleem Younge and Roy Cassou scored in the sixth and 35th minutes respectively.

Likewise, Santa Rosa North dismissed Georgetown 3-0. Marcus Atkinson, Dylan James and Deon Henry scored in the 22nd, 27th and 29th minutes respectively.

Likewise, Tapakuma dismantled Anns Grove 5-0. Raphael Fredericks led the rout with a hat trick in the second, fifth and 39th minutes, while Jordan Benjamin and Renecia Williams scored in the seventh and 31st minutes, respectively.

In other results, Belladrum, Marian Academy, School of the Nations, St. John the Baptist and Stella Maris recorded victories.

Belladrum defeated Redeemer 5-0. Nemaul Wilson scored a brace in the 26th and 40th minutes, while Javell Fraser, Runako Trotman and Kenroy Gordon scored in the ninth, 31st and 35th minutes respectively.

Likewise, Den Amstel defeated Golden Grove 5-0. Kester Jacobs scored a hat-trick in the 14th, 25th and 37th minutes, while Andrew Robin scored a brace in the fifth and 30th minutes.

Likewise, Marian Academy defeated Colaaco with the above score. Joshua Johnson scored a helmet trick in the 15th, 17th, 19th and 22nd minutes, and Cristiano La Rose opened the scoring in the 13th minute to begin the defeat.

School of the Nations defeated Georgetown International Academy (GIA) 5-1. Juan Jaramillo scored five goals in the sixth, tenth, 13th, 25th and 35th minutes. Caleb Nnoli scored for the loser in the 19th minute.

Meanwhile, St. John the Baptiste defeated St. Gabriel's 4-1. Kriston Chandler scored a brace in the first and 31st minutes, while Alex Pearson and Joel De Andrade scored in the fifth and eighth minutes respectively. The goalscorer in the defeat was Treyvon Bypass in the 28th minute.

Additionally, Stella Maris defeated Potaro 3-1. Clyde Jacobs scored a hat trick in the 18th, 28th and 40th minutes. Jermaine Joseph scored for the loser in the ninth minute.
