Well, the NBA returned Tuesday night. Can you feel it? Forget the NFL, college football, or the pesky World Series.

The NBA is back, baby! And with him came LeBron James… AND Bronny James. My God. There are now two of them in the league. If Junior somehow virtue signals like his father did – hell, even if he can manage it halfway – the league will be in great hands for the next decade or two when it comes to social justice.

But I'm not here to bullshit Bronny James. Not today. Not this morning. LeBron and the Lakers drafted him after he scored four points per game at USC last year because LeBron wanted his son to A) be financially secure for the rest of his life and B) play with him in the NBA before he is retiring.

This isn't Bronny's fault. Or his actions. It's LeBron's huge, insufferable head and the Lakers' inability to say no to an aging superstar.

So they drafted Bronny – a player who would never have been drafted – paid him millions, and then he played three minutes last night – missed both shots – and is getting dragged on social media this morning.

Sad.

LeBron, the “father”, sets new standards

I mean, it's true. He came on for the staged photo op at the end of the game, took a few shots and went home.

The irony here is that the Democrats have been talking ad nauseam all week about Trump orchestrating the McDonald's thing because that's all they have left, but The This is what real staging looks like.

And by the way, I'm not knocking LeBron the father here. If you get your son a four-year, $8 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers (!!!) after he was a complete bust in college, LeBron should win Father of the Year for the rest of eternity.

If we are honest, he has set an unreal standard. There's no chance that we can keep up as co-fathers.

I pray that my son is good enough at baseball or golf to one day send me millions of dollars so I can retire and be rich. That is my goal at this point. I want to be in one of those cheesy videos where he comes home and surprises me with a huge check that pays off my house. We'll see.

Anyway, social media erased the Bronny James nonsense from tipping last night, and I have a feeling they'll continue to do so all year long.
