Sivakarthikeyan on epic cameo in GOAT: You can't replace Thalapathy Vijay

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who played a cameo in Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT, spoke about how no one can replace the Ghilli actor. In the film, Vijay hands over Thuppakki (gun in English), which symbolizes him passing the baton to Sivakarthikeyan. In an exclusive chat with India Today Digital, he discussed the cameo and how special it was for him to share the screen with Vijay.

The Amaran actor said, “It was a love exchange and I felt lucky to share screen space with Thalapathy Vijay sir. When his film Thuppakki released, I had no tickets. I got it from director Rajkumar, who worked as director AR.” Murugadoss's then assistant also posted about it on Twitter, which recently went viral.

Here is a little insight into the article:

Explaining how special the cameo was, Sivakarthikeyan said that no one can replace Vijay. “From then until now, playing a cameo in GOAT is very special for me. Every actor has a journey and Vijay sir also has a special journey. Even though he comes from the film industry, he has made it his own. If you can.” “You can't replace his trip, you can't replace him. He said that this was his last film but his place will remain his,” he explained.

He continued: “Everyone has their own place in this world. The audience never said they would accept a certain number of heroes; it is ready to celebrate whoever gives it a good film.”

Thalapathy Vijay announced that he will quit films after his 69th film with director H. Vinoth. He held his first meeting on October 27 at Tamil Nadu's Vikravandi.

Sivakarthkeyan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Amaran, which hits theaters on October 31. Directed by Rajkumar Periasami, the film is a biopic on the life of late Major Mukund Varadarajan.
