ABC7 spoke with Thomas Kendall, the brother of one of the seriously injured victims.

Kendall said his 18-year-old brother was on his way to the Lil Durk concert at the United Center with his friends when a group of people on bikes approached them.

The group then tried to attack the 18-year-old and his friends, Kendall said. A fight broke out and a suspect fired shots.

Kendall's brother, who was shot in the chest, was in critical condition.

Another man, 19, was shot in the rib area and was in critical condition.

A 15-year-old boy who was shot in the hand and had an abrasion to his abdomen was in good condition.

All three victims are being treated at Stroger Hospital and their families said they will undergo surgery.

At one point, ABC7 cameras were rolling as officers ran blocks away, but investigators say no one is in custody.
