Shaun White got engaged to Nina Dobrev after five years of dating

Olympic snowboarder Shaun White and his longtime girlfriend Nina Dobrev are on board for good.

The three-time Olympic gold medalist, 38, popped the question to The Vampire Diaries alum, 35, after dating for five years, Vogue revealed on Wednesday.

“I was in shock. I just froze and stared at him,” Dobrev said of White, who presented his bride-to-be with a stunning five-carat diamond ring from famed jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

White, who has been dating Dobrev since 2019, surprised the “Love Hard” star with an intimate marriage proposal at The Golden Swan restaurant in New York's West Village.

Dobrev was under the impression that she was attending a CFDA/Vogue dinner with the publication's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, a cover orchestrated by White.

“He made the invitation look so legitimate,” Dobrev recalled to Vogue.

After accepting White's proposal, Dobrev and her future husband enjoyed champagne and caviar with friends — not to mention takeout dumplings and Shake Shack.

“At some point we realized we hadn’t eaten anything except the caviar,” White told Vogue.

A five-time Olympian, White won the gold medal in the halfpipe at three Winter Games (Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010 and Pyeongchang 2018).

White ended his Olympic career with fourth place in the men's halfpipe at the 2022 Beijing Games.

“I'm experiencing a lot of emotions at the moment. Just the cheers of the crowd and a few kind words from my fellow competitors below. I'm so happy. “I just want to thank everyone for watching,” White said afterwards.

Dobrev, who made her relationship with White public in 2020, posted a heartfelt tribute after his Olympic career ended.

“I am in awe of you. Today we celebrate you. Your hard work. Your passion. Your determination. Your talent. Your class. Your fearlessness. Your courage. Your soul. Your heart. YOUR LEGACY. I couldn't be prouder,” she posted on Instagram in February 2022.

“…The end of a chapter means the beginning of an exciting new chapter with endless possibilities.
You will forever be the GOAT of snowboarding. Not to mention you’re also the G.(B).OAT = greatest friend ever.”
