“Samuel L. Jackson celebrates 'Pulp Fiction' anniversary with a quote”

Samuel L. Jackson hasn't forgotten his lines pulp Fiction. In honor of the film's 30th anniversary, the actor released a clip of himself reciting the Bible verse Ezekiel 25:17 from memory, a notable moment for his character.

In the video, Jackson repeats the entire quote: “The path of the just man is marked on every side by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.” Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and goodwill, guides the weak through the valley the darkness leads, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will smite upon you with great vengeance and furious wrath those who seek to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I take my vengeance on you!”

“You know I still have it,” he confirmed in the caption, before wishing the Quentin Tarantino film a “happy 30th anniversary.”

pulp Fictionwritten and directed by Tarantino, premiered on October 14, 1994, after debuting at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d'Or. In addition to Jackson, it stars John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Ving Rhames and Uma Thurman and is now widely considered one of the best films of all time.

Jackson is currently performing in The piano lessona film adaptation of August Wilson's play. The film, which hits theaters November 8th, marks Malcolm Washington's directorial debut and was produced by Denzel Washington (who also stars) and Todd Back. Other cast members include Danielle Deadwyler, Skylar Smith, Ray Fisher, Michael Potts, Erykah Badu, Jerrika Hinton, Gail Bean and Corey Hawkins.
