For fans of the “Espresso” singer, there's a pop star Sabrina Carpenter-inspired cafe for a quick, sweet stay this weekend.

Cash App is partnering with Carpenter to open a Short N' Sweet Cafe pop-up at 30 E. Adams St.

The pop-up, which is temporarily taking over Happy Monday Coffee, opened at 8 a.m. Saturday, with hundreds of fans lining up to enjoy an immersive experience before the concert.

Carpenter will perform for her “Short N' Sweet Tour” at the United Center on Sunday after the marathon at 7 p.m.

As of 4 p.m. Saturday, 655 people had entered and hundreds were still surrounding the block.

Carpenter was not present at the cafe but drove by in a black SUV around 12:30 p.m

Many people who attended the pop-up were fans who didn't have tickets to Sunday's show, including 23-year-old Lizbeth Araujo.

Araujo traveled from Berwyn to purchase the exclusive merchandise and a drink from the espresso bar.

“I was in line at 10:30 a.m. and it's almost 3 p.m. and we're still not there, but she came by early and waved at us, so it was worth the wait for me,” Araujo said .

Stephanie Rendo, 23, of the South Side, was almost in the middle of the line after waiting nearly three hours, but didn't give up because she wanted to experience the pop-up.

“I don’t have tickets to her concert, but we’re here for the merchandise I want to wear tomorrow,” Rendo said. “I’ll be at the box office at 4 a.m. tomorrow trying to get tickets.”

The pop-up had t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags and more for sale, all related to their “Short N' Sweet Tour.” The espresso bar, where she didn't have espresso, offered drinks like Fuzzy Pink Kombucha, Honeybee Iced Latte and a Common Sense Chai.

“Being here is like being part of a small community. We all love the artist and it’s a lot of fun,” said Gamaliel Ybarra.

The pop-up was cozy, there were photo opportunities everywhere, and there were lipstick kisses in various shades of blue and red everywhere.

Ybarra, 26, of Midway said the experience was short-lived, but “it was sweet.”

“The pop-up adequately describes Sabrina’s aesthetic, you just have to know it.”

The café is open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
