The 11 episodes of season six promise to clear up some lingering questions about our supernatural friends and their lives in Staten Island while also being fun for new viewers, co-executive producer and writer Paul Simms told multiple news outlets.

At the end of season five, we saw a human-again Guillermo (Harvey Guillen) decide to give up his long-held status as a vampire. In Season 6, we can expect to see him grapple with finding a new purpose in life and leaving the vampire house to take a more traditional job. Meanwhile, viewers will meet a new character, long-forgotten roommate Jerry, who previously slept in a “super sleep” for 50 years.

As the vampires struggle with their own existential fears after realizing they haven't accomplished much in Jerry's absence, they'll also try typical 9-to-5 jobs, presumably with disastrous results. The new season also promises to see Baron Afanas (Doug Jones) appear in a less seedy, never-before-seen light.
