Paris Masters: Shelton makes it to the second round

American Ben Shelton reached the second round of the Paris Masters by beating French qualifier Corentin Moutet 6-3, 6-7 (8), 6-3 at the Accor Arena on Tuesday.

Shelton, ranked 19th, will next face lucky loser Arthur Cazaux.
