Oregon men's basketball receives votes in preseason AP poll

Oregon will open the season unranked for the second straight season.

The Ducks are unranked but received 12 points in the AP men's preseason college basketball poll released Monday, placing them 36th overall.

Oregon, which made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season, received the ninth-most votes among Big Ten teams, with No. 14 Purdue, No. 17 Indiana, No. 22 UCLA and No. 25 Rutgers in the Preseason ranked poll.

UO was ranked sixth in a preseason Big Ten media poll.

Oregon opens the season Nov. 4 against UC Riverside (7:30 p.m., Big Ten Network+).
