On the pink carpet of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, front row

After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria's Secret fashion show made its highly anticipated comeback Tuesday night at the Brooklyn Navy Yards. And the brand went all pink for the occasion to shine a spotlight on inclusion, diversity and the women who make all the magic possible.

Even though the mid-fall temperatures weren't exactly the best match for the unofficial underdressing dress code, all the models, celebrities, influencers, and editors who came to the venue seemed excited to be part of the action. The evening had something for everyone: performances by Lisa, Tyla and Cher; Appearances from Victoria's Secret veterans like Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Gigi Hadid; Show debuts for supermodel Kate Moss and daughter Lila Moss as well as Ashley Graham and front row faces including athletes Angel Reese and Suni Lee; rappers Ice Spice, Cardi B, Tyga and Queen Latifah; actresses Phoebe Dynevor and Jodie Turner-Smith; La La Anthony; Bethan Hardison; James Turlington and more.

“My rose is always trying to say hello to everyone,” said “Bachelor Nation” star Hannah Godwin, adjusting the rose embellishment at the center of her Camila Coelho Collection dress. “Basically, (the Victoria's Secret fashion show) was the Super Bowl for my mom and I growing up,” Godwin said. “We had this long hallway at my house, and I made sure to put on her heels and one of my swimsuits and strut down the hallway. So it’s really full circle being here.”

“I think my favorite memory from the VS show will be tonight,” said Jordyn Woods, who wore a long-sleeved lace jumpsuit. “I just wanted to appear sexy, I just wanted to embody confidence – and I really feel like that's what I do,” she said of her look. “I didn’t expect it to be so cold out here, otherwise I would have covered myself up a little more.”

“These are my pom-poms for the evening,” said Dylan Sprouse, holding up two homemade signs with photographic cutouts of a cat and a dog. The actor was there to support his wife Barbara Palvin, who was away on the show. “These are our babies, our little animals. So we wave it to Barbara. I hope she doesn't cry.” True to his word, Sprouse jumped up from his seat mid-show to cheer as Palvin strutted down the runway.

Cher walked the carpet hand in hand with boyfriend Alexander Edwards before heading backstage to change for her performance. When asked what “female empowerment” – a central aspect of the reinvention of the Victoria Secret brand in recent years – means to her, Cher answered succinctly: “Everything,” she said.

The show's timely start meant Cardi B took her spot just as the livestream began. Blackpink member Lisa kicked things off when she jumped off a motorcycle and began performing her single “Rockstar.” The singer was lowered under the stage and the audience's attention turned to Gigi Hadid, who appeared as a winged model for the first time that evening. Appearances from Tyla and finally Cher followed before Tyra Banks completed the fashion program.

After the show, waiters quickly appeared on the runway and brought trays of celebratory drinks to the audience. Cardi B posed for photos with Angel Reese before both made their way back out to the pink carpet to pose for more photos. Queen Latifah prepared to descend a flight of stairs and head back outside, where a fleet of black SUVs – and a “ferry service” in the shape of a Victoria's Secret yacht – were waiting to whisk the VIP crowd to her next event stop.
