After Olivia Rodrigo wrapped up her massive Guts world tour last week, the singer is opening up about her viral stage crash earlier this month.

The 21-year-old singer was performing during her final show in Melbourne, Australia at the Rod Laver Arena in mid-October when she suddenly fell off the stage.

She recovered quickly and continued on the show, although she revealed to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Tuesday that she was hospitalized because of the incident.

“And I fell and I was completely confused.” And I went to the hospital afterwards. “Nothing happened, but they just wanted to make sure I didn’t get a concussion,” she said.

She also admitted, “When I watch the video again, it's pretty frightening.” I… I mean, the show must go on. This is showbiz, baby.'

However, she admitted: “It was a really beautiful thing and looking back I'm really glad it happened.”

The Filipino singer explained to Fallon, “So I was just in the Philippines.” After the Philippines, that was my next stop: Australia. And I thought about my family, my origins and my relatives.'

She revealed that the nurse at the hospital was a Filipino man with the same name as my grandfather who had passed away just a few months ago.

“And so I thought, 'Wow, that was – he was looking out for me and making sure I didn't get hurt.' And so I'm really glad it happened. “I think it’s a beautiful story,” she told Fallon.

She also told how she“Got into trouble with the law for the first time in my life” during a tour stop in Canada.

“So we went from Canada to Portland or something.” We were at the border control. I give them my passport and they say, “Okay, whatever,” she began.

“And they knock on the door and say, 'We need Olivia.' And I'm like, 'I just played a few shows, maybe her daughter wants an autograph,'” she said.

However, she admitted: “It was a really beautiful thing and looking back I'm really glad it happened.”

“And I’m coming out. It's 3 a.m. and I'm delirious. And they take me to a room. And it's an interrogation room. And there's this big policeman with a gun. And he asks, “Have you ever been arrested?” And I say, “No, I… I haven't been arrested.” And he goes, “Are you sure?” And I light myself on fire. I thought, 'Oh my God, maybe I was arrested and didn't know it,'” she said.

“He scared me. He's like, “You know, you could go to prison for lying to a federal agent, so… so, that's really bad.” “I'm freaking out,” she admitted.

“I think, ‘I won’t be allowed into America. I'm so scared.” I'm having a panic attack right now. After 30 minutes of interrogation he looks at me and asks: “What is your name?” And I say: “Olivia Rodrigo. Like Rodriguez. And he says, “Oh, there's a – there's a girl your age who looks just like you who's been arrested several times and her name is Olivia Rodriguez,” she said as the audience laughed.

“Jimmy, I was angry. I think: ““You didn't see the name on that thing while you were interrogating me for 30 minutes?” she said.
