FC Barcelona return to action after their two-week break this evening when they take on Sevilla at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

After Real Madrid moved level on points with them following a 2-1 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday, Hansi Flick and Co. will be aiming to restore their lead at the top of the table.

With this in mind, the Barcelona coach has announced the starting line-up that will be on the field tonight against Garcia Pimienta's side.

As was confirmed on Saturday, Inaki Pena will again be given the goalkeeper job ahead of new signing Wojciech Szczesny, as Marc-Andre ter Stegen is absent.

Meanwhile, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde remain the two full-backs flanking the center-back pairing of Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez.

Marc Casado moves into the middle of the park and starts as one of the home team's two linchpins alongside Eric Garcia, while Frenkie de Jong is sidelined with a muscle problem.

Pedri will remain in the central attacking midfield position from where he will try to dictate the game for Barça.

Meanwhile, there haven't been any major changes to the attacking unit either, with Flick opting or not opting to rest Lamine Yamal and/or Robert Lewandowski due to the fitness issues they had during the international break.
