NYT Mini Crosswords Today: Puzzle Solutions for Sunday, November 3rd

Following the continued success of Wordle, The New York Times has unveiled the next title in its games catalog – and it's all about math. In Digits, players can add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. You can now play the beta online for free.
With Digits, players are shown a target number that they must reach. Players are given six numbers and can add, subtract, multiply or divide them to get as close to the goal as possible. However, not every number needs to be used, so this game should put your math skills to the test as you combine numbers and try to come up with the correct equations to get as close as possible to the target number.

Players receive a five-star rating if they reach the target number exactly, a three-star rating if they are within 10 of the target number, and a one-star rating if they can reach within 25 of the target number. Currently, players can also access five different puzzles with increasing numbers. I solved today's puzzle and found it to be a fun numbers game that should appeal to curious minds who enjoy puzzle games like Threes or other New York Times titles like Wordle and Spelling Bee.
In an article revealing Digits and detailing the New York Time Games team's process in game development, The Times says the team will use this free beta to fix bugs and assess whether it's worth investing in to move on to a more active development phase “in which the game is coded and the designs are ready. So play Digits while you can, because The New York Times might abandon the project if it doesn't get the response you're hoping for.
