Nicole Kidman admits in a new interview that she got so hot and bothered while filming sex scenes for her upcoming erotic thriller “Babygirl” that she found herself repulsed by the idea of ​​being “touched” in certain places.

“There were times during filming where I thought, 'I don't want to have an orgasm anymore,'” the award-winning actress, 57, told The Sun on Tuesday.

“Don’t come too close to me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I’m never touched again in my life!”

In the upcoming R-rated film, Kidman plays a powerful CEO who begins an affair with a much younger man, played by Harrison Dickinson. Her husband is played by Antonio Banderas.

The “Moulin Rouge” star added that she was “so present the whole time” during the sex scenes that she “almost burned out,” noting that she often felt pushed to a point , where she was simply “over it”.

She recognized that there was “a tremendous amount of communication, trust and then frustration” between her and her co-stars.

However, Kidman noted that she, Dickinson, 28, and Banderas, 64, all took “tremendous care” to tell the film's story.

“We were all very, very gentle with each other and helped each other — Harris, Antonio,” she said.

The trio also worked with an intimacy coordinator for the scenes, but Kidman said she and her co-stars still didn't feel “constrained” by what they should or shouldn't do.

“I still firmly believe that the set or the actors' space is sacred and will never be violated,” she explained. “Because it’s ours, it’s the bubble, and then there’s the world outside.”

The “Bombshell” star added that having a female director, Halina Reijn, on set was also helpful for her because it meant she didn't feel “exploited.”

“I don't think I would have been able to work with a man,” Kidman admitted. “I actually think I was only able to do that with her because we were both sitting there talking.”

The A-lister said she and Reijn, 48, sat down before filming and talked about their “secret desires.”

“We've talked about so many things and still do, it's so mysterious and vulnerable – but it's safe,” she said.

“When I was in the hands of Halina, I knew that she would not exploit me. … I felt part of it. It’s the story I wanted to be a part of, the story I wanted to tell, and every part of me was committed to that story.”

Kidman also shared that when she read the script, she found it “so funny,” but that it also “turned her on” and “kind of hypnotized her, too.”

The Eyes Wide Shut star, who is married to country star Keith Urban and has daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, said she chatted with her family before taking the role have accepted.

“When you have family at home and stuff, there has to be some sort of agreement that's made wherever you go: 'I'm going to go ahead and ask permission to let me go,'” Kidman explained.

“And I have teenage children who understand that and a husband who is also an artist. So you’re released into your artistic life and then you go back home and into your real life.”

She added: “But some kind of letting go is required.”
