New Agreement Between Zillow® and Realtor.com® Expands Access to Interactive Listing Media

Zillow® and Realtor.com® announce an agreement to automatically share Zillow 3D Home® tours, interactive floor plans and photos in listings syndicated to Realtor.com®. This collaboration will allow real estate agents to quickly and easily share premium immersive virtual content across both sites to meet homebuyers where they are looking.

Interactive, immersive listing media gives buyers a deep feel for a home and saves valuable time searching. Virtual tours and floor plans help buyers efficiently narrow down their options and only view homes they are passionate about – which is also beneficial for sellers and agents.

“At Zillow, we have long believed that buyers, sellers and agents benefit from richer, interactive listing content. That’s why we’re making our Zillow 3D Home technology free to the industry and excited to partner with Realtor.com® to share our 3D tours and interactive floor plans with more buyers,” said Cynthia Taylor, vice president of product at Zillow. “When buyers have more information, they can make better decisions. We think this is a good thing no matter where buyers are looking.”

Zillow 3D Home Tours and Interactive Floor Plans offer agents and real estate media companies a cost-effective way to enhance their listings. This agreement expands the reach of digital listing content to help agents deliver the digital buying and selling experiences today's consumers demand.

“At Realtor.com®, we strive to continually improve the real estate search experience, and this relationship with Zillow raises the bar,” said Angela Lu, vice president of corporate and business development at Realtor.com®. “By seamlessly integrating Zillow's 3D Home Tour technology into the listings on our website, we are enabling agents to better showcase their sellers' properties while providing homebuyers a more comprehensive and informed way to explore homes – a win-win situation for everyone.”

Zillow's free 3D home tours combine crisp, 360-degree views with easy navigation to show buyers where they are in the home, the direction and perspective of the camera, and the dimensions of the room. Zillow's AI-generated interactive floor plan embeds the 3D tour and listing photos within it, giving buyers a personal perspective on a home's form and flow that simply isn't possible when scrolling through static images.

According to Zillow's Consumer Housing Trends Report, today's home buyers and sellers expect high-quality, comprehensive listing media for real estate listings. In fact, nearly two-thirds (62%) of buyers said they wished more listings had 3D tours available. And most sellers (71%) say they are more likely to hire an agent who includes virtual tours and/or interactive floor plans in their services.

Earlier this year, Realtor.com® and Zillow announced an agreement to syndicate Zillow's multifamily rental offerings to Realtor.com®, providing users with a greater selection of available rental properties and giving property managers and multifamily partners the broadest tenant audience in both areas Platforms. This new integration underscores our commitment to working with the industry to optimize and expand access to listing data and content.

Together, Zillow and Realtor.com® are helping elevate the real estate industry with more quality real estate content to create dynamic, immersive home shopping experiences.
